I just failed a quiz
« on: January 07, 2010, 06:57:13 PM »
I just answered the phone with the ID of "Unknown Caller."  It was NPR with a short poll.  I agreed to take it and was told it would take ten to twelve minutes ...

#1.  Are you at least 18 years of age and registered to vote at this address ... Yes

#2.  Are you a member of the media, a candidate, or do you volunteer or are you employed by any candidate or political movement (I think I lied, because I am an active member of the NRA, a recruiter and on the committee for Friends of NRA) ... NO

#3.  As you know there will a Gubenetorial (sp?) election in 2010 with a primary election.  At the primary you can only vote in one party.  Which party will you declare ... Not knowing the candidates yet I'm not sure, but probably Republican

Thank You ... Click

Apparently NPR is only concerned with how someone other than a Republican thinks.  I think I know what they want, and I ain't it  ;D

I never get polled!!!! :-\ All I get are my wife's ACLU "survey" mailers, which I fill out for her and send back. ;)

Somehow they keep sending more, despite flagrant criticism to their "selective" agenda...

I thought the NRA sticker on the last survey would get them to stop,... ;D

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

NPR, wanted info on the Dem primary. Any "survey" from a party or political organization is not after info. They just word the questions to get you riled up and hope you send money. If you don't intend to, don't bother returning it as they probably won't spend money to collate the results anyway, its just a solicitation. The only reason to send it back is if you're pissed at them and want to stick them for the return postage.

How about "I don't vote for parties, I vote for candidates".  :)

"No Maam.  If I was expecting trouble, I'd have a rifle."
