I had to go back and look after your post, Jay. He's one of my all-time guitar heroes also....

I missed meeting him by 20 freakin' minutes once after coming back from a ZZ Top concert. After we got back to town, we had went to eat at the restaurant where Amy used to work before we got married. I had been feeling poorly all evening, so after we ate we went on home. 20 minutes after we left, the ZZ Top tour bus pulled in and ordered a $150 to-go order. Missed it by that much. Billy did sign a few autographs for some of the ones that had enough sense to know who he was. Luckily, one of the other waitresses saved me one.........Yep, 20 freakin' minutes.......

Yes it is. Had the opportunity to meet him last July when he was in Cinci for a gig. That's one of his $10K "pearly gates" LP's. Gibson custom shop only made a dozen of them. Got to play with it for awhile. They wouldn't let me take it home. :-(

Oh well...I'm a  Strat guy anyway.

After several delays, I have the pistol and it is beautiful.


I have managed to scrounge a camera and am learning to take pictures now.

Do I need to be concerned about image size?

I'll get the pictures here as soon as I can.
