S&W Polymer Bodyguard .38 revolver
« on: January 20, 2010, 01:25:30 PM »
After Ruger came out with the LCR, I guess it was just a mater of time before the other revolver makers follow suite. If these designs have no major problems, S&W will probably be next.

Yep:

Bane also highlights it on the Video Cast (1:20 mark):

The specs read a alumiumn alloy frame, steel cylinder and polymer grip frame.  Doesn't appear to have the lock and cylinder release is ambi on top.

That would make for a great "New York reload"
"Why are you carrying a pistol?  Expecting trouble?"

"No Maam.  If I was expecting trouble, I'd have a rifle."

You should have seen me at the S&W booth, looking like a monkey with that top cylinder latch...too many years' training for my thumb to go to the left side release! For a moment I thought about scratching my head and going, "Ooooo...ahhhhh...ahhhh...wanna banana!"
