Bought a 22mag. It sprayed my face and hands with bullet shavings. returned the gun to dealer and paid the extra for the ruger LCR. Has anyone else had a problem. Are they just JUNK?! ??? ???

That really sounds like a timing issue.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

TAB it does sound like timming, but the revolver would lock-up sometime while shooting double action, while dry firing it wouldn't. The cylinder was always locked into place by the cylinder stop and it was keyholing the bullets on the target. Anyway thanks for your reply and look foward to more replies. :)

I have a .38 Undercover. The very first cylinder full was a little tough to eject. After that, not a hitch. It is more accurate than I expected too, or I am (probably the gun). Great grips!

In smaller calibers, I have read many finicky reviews of Charter Arms, if someone has some others great. However their larger caliber Bulldog, and other 44's seem to have a loyal following. Must be something there, at least on the larger calibers.

Did you try different varieties of ammo with the same result?

Glad you were not seriously injured, and the pistol was at least not damaged to the point of non-returnable....Good call on the LCR.

22 mag, could be way out of timing and it would still go bang.  not so for a centerfire.
