I'm sorry for your winter. My wife's family is in the Baltimore area and had 30" last weekend and another 15-20" coming tonight and tomorrow.

They're just not used to that much.

Me, I just need a long sleeve t-shirt,   still in shorts,...

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

TW.. If I was where you are.  I'd need a lot less than shorts and a long sleeve shirt.  No-one wants to see that. So I'll stay in Iowa

NH has gotten off easy this year as well usually we have at least a foot of snow on the ground (After warm spells and settling ) bare ground., Last year was warm and they had to post pone the ice fishing derby as the ice was not thick enough to be safe,  this year it's been 20 degrees for 2 months and we have 18 inches of ice , Derby was 2 weeks ago.
But they canceled the sled dog races because there's no snow.
February and March are usually the worst for snow though, I may not be gloating in a few weeks.  ;D

We are obviously it what is called the Hop Scotch Propagation Phase of Global Warming.

This phase is cause by the Coriolis Effect, which, in turn, is caused by the Earth's rotation.  The weather patters are formed in alternating spiral arms of hot and cold weather. This is evidenced by unusually warm weather in one arm of the spiral and by unusually cold weather int he adjacent arm.  This alternating of the arms is what we are seeing now.

If you do not believe this is the phenomena we are experiencing, I will send email to all my friends and they will agree and we will make statements thus proving this is true.   :P :P

And the reason we've been so unusually cold in Florida is 'cause the Snow Birds come into the state, then open their trunks to get the luggage, thereby letting all that cold air fall out into Florida.  Solus, we can get email confirmation of this, too.  I have the data (or I can make up enough data) to prove my point.  Just add this to your mailing list. ;) ;D ;) ;D

Hmm...it doesn't have the WORDS.  It needs some words....

Ahh...  Global Warming High Temperature Air displacement by the  Cold Air redistribution effect precipitated by the seasonal migratory pattern of mature homo sapiens

This will work.

It was 13-below this morning, but the sun is shining brightly today.  We have had more snow this winter than any in the past 30 years.  We've had snowfalls of 12", 18", 28", along with the normal 3"-6" inch snows that fall several times each winter.  Right now the snowbank at the edge of my parking lot is Approximately 12 feet high.

I'm so effing sick of winter I could scream.

I knew God would make me pay for that post  ;D
I DID NOT expect to WAKE UP to snow  :(
Only flurries now but based on what we've had so far the flurries will last for a week.

I wish I was old/rich enough to be a snowbird.  I am pretty sure I am getting older faster than richer. :(

My retirement dream would be to buy a Sportsmobile 4wd camper and spend summers in CO/MT and winters at Gunsite or Baja.  I haven't seen a gunsafe in their floorplans, though.
