And YES, that is a beautiful family.  You must be so proud!

Im a little late putting up my Ruger Story,  but dont think that means that they dont deserve my undivided attention and respect.  I own 2 10/22s and 2 Mark II pistols.  In a world of dirty guns, stovepipes, feed problems, ejection issues, ammo quality,  and accuracy MY RUGERS ARE THE FINEST SEMI AUTOS I HAVE EVER OWNED.  This applies to all calibers, shapes, and sizes.  With many years of use and abuse they still outperform brand new high dollar guns.  Never fickle with what ammo I feed them, how fast I pull the trigger, or how long I wait before I clean them (oops).  I might get some critisism that you cant put .22s in the same catagory as larger calibers,  but in my "opinion"  I will gladly trust the firearms to perform each and every time.

Well last year I bought one of the 4 inch Redhawks in 44 mag and other than the ugly rubber grips which I have replaced, I am pleased as punch with it.  So long about last August ,after a night of viewing pleasure at the Bustop Gentlemens Club I'm driving up a canyon named after a local indian chief at 3 am, and I come around a long mountain curve and there is this,,, I swear to Chief Hosa, a U.F.O. with an outrigger stuck in the mud.  And up above was another space ship with a tow cable lowered and a couple of greys with their arms up in the air, shouting at each other.  Being under the calming influence of beer , I pulll up and offer my services.  Turns out they didn't have a clevis pin so I pull out my Redhawk and the taller of the Greys shoves the barrel in the cable loops and gives the signal.  Well the turbos on the airboune ship start to whine and that outrigger pulls out of the mud.  Well that sure was a night to remember, course I had to buff out the scrathes of my ejector housing , but I did get a green slave girl out of the deal.
You've come a far piece pilgrim.
