I've been watching the gun shows on Sportsman Channel, here are my thoughts:
American Airgunner: really digging this show. It's a magazine style show, with reviews, events, tips, etc. All related to airguns. I'd never realized the improvements in this field vs the Daisy I played with as a kid.
Guns & Ammo TV. I remember this from when it was on Outdoor Channel. Magazine style show. The information never seemed timely, and the information was bland. Better than Guns & Gear, not as good as American Rifleman.
Handguns. A lot like G&A, but as a shooter (vs a hunter), I like the focus better.
Personal Defense TV. Another Outdoor Channel defector. I like TBD better.
Shooters. A unique show with teams competing in different shooting disciplines. I like the setting up in Cody, WY, but the show leaves me cold. Too hunter-ish, the events are bland, and I don't care who wins. It's hard to do a shooting game show.
Tactical Arms. I like this show. A bit like a long version of I Have This Old Gun. Looks at a single weapon.
Tactical Impact. The inner Mall Ninja in me loves this. Tactics, then vs now, shooting scenarios, even a quiz on picking the correct gun (or is this on Arms?).
