This sheriff is definitely  someone that I could get behind. It is an election year, so it will be interesting to see where Larimer county voters stand, based on weather or not this guy keeps his job. He sounds to me like another from the mold of Joe Arpio. I say good on him. After reading this, and even though I don't live there, I emailed this guy to thank him for standing up for peoples right to protect themselves.

Exit question though....Do the anti's ever consider that all of the mass shootings have happened in places that have gun bans in place. I know that would be logical, but still? Oh wait I'm letting facts cloud the argument! Silly me.

Just like the shooting this week in Littleton, Co. The teacher tackled the shooter, and luckily the two students that were hit will survive.

Even School Resource Officers, can only respond if there is a "tip" or AFTER THE SHOOTING.

I could stroll on any campus right now walk around the quad,  and if I were so inclined, could inflict terrible casualties. THAN campus security would show up...."Kinda when seconds count, the cops are minutes away" mentality.

If a lawfully carrying student can deter/ stop a threat in an almost instantaneous amount of time, or at least let the BG know that there are armed students about, these events would decrease.

In the poll accompanying the story about the County's Sheriff, it is currently running 93% say ignore the ban.

I don't see how that's a problem. I mean after all, msnbc doesn't EVER stack their poll demographics.  ::)

Have you ever wondered why there are 100 times more respondants to an MSNBC poll than ever watch the network?  Their bloggers get more eyes than they do  ::)
