Really hard to believe this could happen in a Gun Free Zone.  Is it possible that criminals do not obey laws?

I'm expecting to see a billion-dollar tax-payer funded study to see what can be done to make Gun Free Zones more, like, gun free.

If criminals won't obey the signs, we may have to re-think this whole concept.

(Sheesh. What maroons our leaders are.  Maybe we need Mandatory Carry laws??)

And YES, the teacher is the hero of this incident.

This teacher did the only thing you can in a no win situation... ANYTHING! I never knew there were teachers in JeffCo that actually had the where with all to act in a crisis. This guy needs a major promotion to superintendent. As a graduate from another school right up the road from Deer Creek I would have given anything to have someone with the guts this guy had running my school. Instead I had a liberal PC blowhard that believed the mere presence of faith was a threat to his control. We almost took him to court for discrimination against me and several other students for openly expressing our religious affiliation in common areas during times we had out of class. He was a snake in the likes of Gore and Pelosi. Good to know at least 1 teacher in that district is honorable, courageous, respectable.
