Congressman Xavier Becerra (D - CA) Laughs When Someone from Ari David for Congress Suggests Opening an Immigration Rally With The Pledge of Allegiance. Becerra is the one in the dark suit seated on stage. Not until the congressman is specifically confronted does he and the CHIRLA/SEIU rally leader agree that not to do so would be a massive fault. However, you can see the natural inclination was to dismiss the suggestion. Date 2-19-10, location is the Los Angeles SEIU offices.

(D) Atzlan maybe? I am not a big fan of flag waving and lapel pin wearing shows of patriotism. But some things are important, and particularly for a pro-immigration rally, where the point is presumably to show that all these folks want to be Americans, the Pledge is one of them. Laughing at this is way too telling, its rejecting the melting pot in favor of multi-culturalist, multi-ingual Balkanization. Vote the bum out (good luck). >:(

Why does this surprise anyone? Not only do our own congressional representatives believe that the only allegiance should be to the all mighty dollar they believe that those coming into this country should have allegiance only to them. Because it's them (congress) that approves the welfare increases for illegals and its congress that believes Immigration Reform means a free pass to criminals here illegally.
