Agreed awesome, and that is what shooting sports are about, at least in mho, I once shot with a an older man ( at that time ) named Truman, who had severe Palsy, just watching him load and make ready scared the crap out of me, but once the buzzer went off, he shook, and he aimed and damn if he did not hit the target, moving targets are one thing, moving sights are another and he conquered them, thing is shooters are the kind of people who give other people the chance to do what we might consider impossible, but give them a chance and even advice. There is one guy who shoots every year at our Glock matches, who has no hand on one side, just a stump, he is safe, uses his stump to rack the slide, ( which I admire, and cringe when he does it. ) no favor asked or given, and he shoots very well with one hand.

Thanks Eric.

Exceptional spirit.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

He'd be welcome at my range anytime. Great story...... Good for him.

Most say, other senses become enhanced with the loss of one, he probably still keeps "something" in the night stand for the bump in the night, and can very well hit it.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

how blind is blind?  legally blind for example you can still see lots of shapes, just not many details.

They said he was 95% blind. He can barely tell there are targets out there, but he probably outshoots me any day.
