Episode Idea for the Next season

First, I am a big fan of TBD and SWAT TV, they are very educational and entertaining. Keep up the good work. This current season has taken it to new level IMO. On the same idea as a workplace shooting I would like to see a scenario of a Church Type shooting. This has been discussed on other threads on this forum and should be a concern for any church. I am the team leader of our churches security, we call ours a Safety Team, little more PC.

Also, an episode of what we as parents or grandparents can do to help keep our kids safe in case of an Active Shooter in there school or college. I have prepared my kids as much as I can to know what to do in case of various events at school.

We did hit the School issue last season, The Church setting really is very similar to the restaurant or bank scene that we showed this year... but it isn't a bad idea to put something in that context in a future season.

Hey thanks Rob. One thing we have ran into is the EDP's they seem to be attracted to churches. Fortunately, none that we have dealt with have been armed just disruptive and threatening. We take this very seriously, our pastor was stabbed critically a few years ago by the grandson of a parishioner. The grandson was an EDP and stabbed our pastor and his own grandmother then took his own life. This happened right after church when he said he needed to visit with our pastor at his grandmother's house. Our pastor and the grandmother both survived but were in a fight for their lives in ICU.

We have had probably three incidents with EDP's. None of them had any connection to our church, they just found it because we are located on a major highway. They tend to cause much alarm because you never know where it could lead. I train our team in proper and safe control techniques like I teach to LE and our jailers so we can get them escorted out as quickly as possible. We have had one that charged toward our pastor that is where we respond in a more bodyguard like role. We always keep at least one team member close by our pastors.
