Take your daughter to the range day
« on: March 06, 2010, 05:29:20 PM »
Amanda and I went to the range today.

She started out with her air rifle:

Then tried my M1 Carbine:

Finally we went to the pistol range and she tried my Cimarron Evil Roy:

She liked the carbine but loved the revolver.   ;D  I may never get it back.  It was her first time firing a "real" gun.  She had a ball and is truly a natural with the revolver.  She's very smart because she realizes at a very early age that "wheel guns is real guns."  Now I need to teach her to clean them.   :)

OUTSTANDING !! What a great post BAC.

What's that white stuff on the ground??? ???

Fantastic pictures, (even the pink rifle),  ;) Good to see young kids being brought up at the "range"...

Thank you BAC.

Thanks, BAC.  Good work...and the pics make the final gasps of winter here feel warmer.

You might want to let her know her fingernail polish didn't match her pink stock color.... :D....but other than that, looks like she has everything under control.  :D

Thanks.  You can't see them in the photos, but she was wearing pink cowgirl boots that matched her air rifle perfectly.

The highest point in shooting is sharing with family......Great thing you have going there.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

VERY COOL  WELL DONE   Mate
and a very good thing your Range does ( got an idea for our club..)

I can not wait to get a rifle for my little one

what is the Air Rifle  as my Daughter has the matching Ear Mufs for it ;)

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Thanks Phil.  It's not an actual range event (although it is a good idea).  I just thought it would be a clever title for my post.  Her air rifle is a Gamo Lady Recon, and those pink ears would be a perfect match for the rifle and the cowgirl boots.   :)
