NEW YORK – Breast milk cheese, anyone? A Manhattan chef has posted a recipe on his blog for what he calls "My spouse's mommy milk cheese." Daniel Angerer co-owns Klee Brasserie with his wife Lori Mason. A photo on his blog features the cheese encrusted with maple caramelized pumpkin and Concord grapes. They had an overabundance of milk for their newborn, Arabella Caroline. When their small freezer ran out of space, Angerer decided to experiment.

Angerer said his cooking instincts tend toward things natural. But even he admits: "THIS is a whole other level of 'natural.'"
Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

Think that's bad? I hesitate to even post this. One because, generally speaking, I like Earth Hippies, as long as they stay out of politics. Seriously, good folks, good farmers, good craftsmen and generally fun to be around. I won't vote for them, but I will party with them. ;D However, and this where you want to tune out or buy brain bleach.....don't say I didn't warn you. There was this small movement in the "80s among some of these folks to eat (and I shudder as I type this) the placenta as it was meat that required no death and continued the natural life cycle. .............OK, I have had my bleach. I'm good.  Breast milk desserts? Well in order to give the Earth Hippies their due after bashing them, evolutionary anthropolgy has proved that lactose tolerant strains of early humans out performed and out bred the lactose intolerant strains. The ones who said "I can get milk out of that cow" won, the others lost. I guess you can chalk the breast milk thing up to Darwin served in a gourmet restaraunt.
FQ13 who will still prefer his milk from a cow.

Actually that Breast Milk Cheese doesn't sound like a bad Idea.  I wonder if they are hiring milkers at the factory?

The placenta eaters are still out there. I'v seen this a couple of times on TV. People will invite friends over for a placenta paté tasting party. There are websites featuring placenta recipes.

Yuck! Is there a shower in the corner?
