Of course!

Next:  When the latest version of influenza comes around, a bill banning sneezing.  If that doesn't work, one banning all human contact. (sic)

Please Mr. Government Official, protect me from myself and from the full experience of life in general.

MB said it best.  Vote with your feet Californians.  My family and I did years ago.  Exodus in mass means even fewer taxes for them to use for stupid stuff like this.

There exists a law, not written down anywhere but inborn in our hearts; a law which comes to us not by training or custom or reading but by derivation and absorption and adoption from nature itself; a law which has come to us not from theory but from practice, not by instruction but by natural intuition. I refer to the law which lays it down that, if our lives are endangered by plots or violence or armed robbers or enemies, any and every method of protecting ourselves is morally right.

OC in CA is just plain dumb anyways.

Unless you are in the act of fishing/ hunting or too or from those activatys, your gun must be unloaded.

Cracks me up to see the guys carrying to make polictical statments in safe areas... you want to make a statement, do it in say south central or oakland.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

Due respect Scott, but FU on the migration thing. I live in what once was Florida. Millions of Yankees and Cubans voted with their feet. Guess what? They now seem determined to make Fl. as screwed up as Mass.,Ny. and Cuba. Stay home and fix your own damn problems! I didn't ask for them any more than I asked for the freaking Iguanas! ;D

And I live in NH where we contend with those from the peoples republik of MA everyday.

God bless the country where you can live where you please.  Unfortunately such are the by-products of those freedoms.  Which ones do we take away in the name of convenient and selective isolationism?

I suspect that those who choose to make a drastic move like relocation over firearms laws will likely be of similar mindset to ours.  If so, I would welcome them as my neighbor.

FQ, you deal with what we all deal with.  The slow and painful extinction through migration, immigration and breeding of our core beliefs.

Take care,
Scott

California Assembly Member Lori Saldaña says 'open carry' of guns can create ‘potentially dangerous situations.’

Explain to me, please, how UNLOADED weapons are dangerous?

Trivia Questions:

1)  What do you call an unloaded handgun?
(A) a hammer

2)  What do you call an unloaded long gun?
(A) a fricking club

FQ,

Most of California is replant population.  Just like the Denver area.  People for other parts of the country see the "greener grass" and head out.  I was forced to be one of them of a period, but as soon as I was able to exercise my Rights I left for home.  T

There comes a point in everyone's life when they must decide whether it is worth the fight.  When it is no longer worth it you move on to an area that lives your belief system.

I could go on more .... But, that would just lead to ranting  ;)

This is a knee jury reaction to the open carry protests. I think the question for Californians is can they get Concealed carry reform before the get stuck with this? Maybe they will use this like they did in Florida and make open carry illegal and get CCW for everyone in trade. ???

I guess those few hundred folks, openly carrying UNLOADED firearms, just is too scary......

Explain to me, please, how UNLOADED weapons are dangerous?

Ah, yes "The Land Of Fruits & Nuts" lives up to its reputation....
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
