What were those first aid kits, Rob?

I just got finished watching an episode of Best Defense. At the end You showed a couple of first aid kits that you recommended. One a small one, the other bigger with a holster in it. Where can I find Info on those kits?

Checking in from SLovenia after a day/night out for St. PAtrick's... but, off the top of my head, they were both "compilations" and the smaller one is what I actually try to have with me all the time on the range... a simple tourniquet and an OLASE bandage. If you want a more thorough kit, I suggest checking out Direct Action Medical Network (DAMN) for a really complete deal and Tactical Response's "V.O.K." for a more complete, but still very inexpensive, set of tools.

I have one of those Max Jumbo bags on back order, as I was watching that I was thinking those SABC items would be a good thing to put in it. Rob when you get home, I would also like some more info on where to get the items if you can recall this tread after a month.

You might consider to put a couple of medical bag options and replacement supplies up for sale on your I.C.E. website.  You know, I see these things lots of places and invariably they are drummed up and stuffed with minor bandaid stuff...that I can get from Wal Mart as an adder or sure survive a few days without it.

I checked out the Direct Action Medical Network and I'm sure it's good, but I had questions and website issues there.

I'm really never been good at "retail" myself.... I barely have an online store operating to offer the books & DVDs. 

Check out the "VOK" (Ventilated Operator Kit) offered at Tactical Response Gear. It is a good collection of gear that can be placed in a variety of pouches. I actually have one stuffed into one of the shelves of a GunVault, under the shelf that holds the gun, flashlight, etc...

The VOK kit gets mixed reviews--mainly for the turniquet.  It is hard to apply enough pressure over heavy clothing with it.  Otherwise it is a good kit and definitely a good starting point. 

Keep in mind you need FAST access to this stuff--IMO you should be able to get to your vent kit as fast as a spare mag.  You don't have long if you have to administer it to yourself.

Addressing the other quoted above, the old adage "strike while the iron is hot" applies.  You are a very popular dude right now...now is the time to cash in on your celebrity and establish a line that will take you into retirement.  By cashing in I in no way mean gouging people for a poor product. 

It's just that these opportunities in life come and go...yours is here now and, take it for what it's worth, it's probably worth a few coin for you to have someone set that sort of thing up for you.  I bet Larry Potterfield or some other enterprising retailer would love to take on a Pincus line of products for you.  You pick the products and ensure the product quality, they do the work and the mailbox money roles in.
