Folks, I have found the new show for board members. Its called "Billy the Exterminator" on A@E on Wednesdays at 10:30 pm. Sweet God. I was geared up for redneck violence and weirdness this week with F/X (the "family values network"
) premering Justified. Its not "The Shield" yet, but it has promise. Still, I caught an add for "Exterminator" and could not resist.
Its about a family owned pest control business in SW La.
Folks, picture 1 part "Crocodile Hunter", 2 parts Ted Nugent, and one part Dawg the Bounty Hunter (complete with the same fashion designer and hairstylist. I mean seriously, where do you go to buy those clothes if you wanted them?).
This cannot be beat. Our hero, punked out studded kid rock wanna-be trapping everthing from coons to copper heads in the black work truck with skull and cross bones motif. What got me about the truck was the "suicide knob" on the wheel.
The mom as dispatcher in the family home/office done up in swamp Catholic Gothic (picture Abby from NCIS sharing an interior decorater) and it just goes on. You can't beat this with a stick. I think I will fold Captain Quaker's Python and Iguana Safari as I can't compete with this. Still, I'm probably related to some of these folks. They're the ones who had to run further from the law than the Everglades.
