Yep. I also wonder why you drive on a parkway and park in a driveway.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Or why, if you want to encouage safe driving, you require seat belts and airbags instead of banning them? Want a safe driver? Replace the drivers side airbag with an 8" steel spike in the steering column. ;D

Just asking.

Brilliant!  I don't know the answer, but I've already stolen the question and put it on my Facebook page.

I've heard this example used to show the stupidity of folks.  It actually shows the opposite. These keyboards are found at drive thru ATMs so different product assembly lines and inventories don't need to be kept for braille/non-braille keyboards.

Also, the end user would have order the correct number of each, and then manage getting different ones out to the installers.

Using the standard keyboard makes a lot of sense.

To give some protection during the flight so they have a better chance of completing their mission.

What color does a Smurf turn when you choke it?
Scott

There exists a law, not written down anywhere but inborn in our hearts; a law which comes to us not by training or custom or reading but by derivation and absorption and adoption from nature itself; a law which has come to us not from theory but from practice, not by instruction but by natural intuition. I refer to the law which lays it down that, if our lives are endangered by plots or violence or armed robbers or enemies, any and every method of protecting ourselves is morally right.
