Remember when Barack Obama took office and we got out of Afghanistan and Iraq; ended torture; got lobbyists out of Washington; government became transparent; bills wouldn’t be rushed through so he would delay signing them and they would be put on a webpage so we could all see them; there’d be no no-bid contracts; reformed the political appointment process; repealed DADT; and we all had a Coke and a smile and there was peace on Earth? Me neither

Had lunch with a friend yesterday who was an Obama supporter. He was a supporter for the right reasons, in my opinion. Those reasons consist entirely of the republicans sucked hard for six years. And they did. But he expressed to me utter disappointment in a man who has the presidency and control of the house and senate, yet has a complete inability to get anything done.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

And there's the idiocy of the whole election. Regardless of political affiliation, if any of those crooks up there had one iota of common sense or decency, they could have passed or improved on past crap-legislation to the point that this nation would again be setting the 'gold standard'.
But no, we have a bunch of power-hungry egomaniacs, hell-bent on passing useless bills and spending more time telling us that we aren't smart enough to know what were doing....and to the outside world, everyone ends up looking like a herd of monkeys humpin' a football or at the least the Keystone Kops.

BASTARDS!   >:(
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Quite frankly, the monkeys would be a vast improvement over our current government.  At least the football humpers would be mildly entertaining, if just for a moment.  Our current administration, however, inspires nothing but fear, anger, and the occasional groan from Americans, as well as an air of superiority in other countries.  I say bring on the monkeys.

I hope yo don't mind the edits.

The smell of BS never fades.

I might say the perfume has worn off and the stench of death of a republic has risen from the fascists midsts.
