If all parents would teach their kids this way, and make their "yes" mean yes and their "no" mean no, then we would all be much better off for it.

That's a good one!  I also saw where a dad sold his son's Wii or whatever they call that game thingee on e-bay for $900 or some huge amount (he bought it for $90).  I forget what the kid did but I remember he got what he deserved.
