Interesting Poll Results
« on: March 21, 2010, 11:54:33 AM »
Tied to an article in the Star Tribune out of Minneapolis is a poll concerning your feelings.  Even in our heavily "blue" state the "Strongly disapprove" has more votes than both approvals and no opinion combined.

http://www.startribune.com/polls/88763267.html?save=%C3%82%C2%A0Vote%C3%82%C2%A0&oid=4&mr=1&cid=8500397&pid=88763267

It will be interesting to see how our socialist state continues to vote on this.

Editor's note: Instant polls are intended as entertainment. They are not considered to be true measurements of public opinion.

Notice the Editors note! ??? They must not have liked the results of their own poll!! :o

What's that saying? Oh ya, don't ask the question if you don't know the answer! ::) Or maybe you shouldn't ask the question if you can't stand the answers. :P

That is a standard disclaimer most polls use.  However, one thing the StarTrib is known for is deleting polls from their site when they don't agree with their stance  >:(

Need I tell you that the staff at the StarTrib leans the same way as our vast medical community up here ... University of MN, the Mayo's and several private industries that cater to the medical field.  Can you guess how most of their editorials are slanted?

By the way, I received my medical insurance statement this week, and I vented to my doc while at his office.  His malpractice premium made mine look like an anemic increase, and he told me what the local hospital was doing for increases ... his bill, however, was the same as my last visit to his office over 18 months ago ... not painless, but I could afford to pay it.

Premium increase ... just over 11% ... actually a lower increase than the fee schedule shown to me for the hospital and specialists and their procedures I was shown.  Can't blame the ins. company after seeing that fee schedule, but what exactly does BHO's plan do to address the root problem  >:(
