Looks Great, Scott.

Great Choice. Rob Barkman is an outstanding guy who runs a great business. While I like the stock Glock grip and haven't used that service I know many people who have been very happy with it. Robbie built me one hell of a rifle several years ago.... I *highly recommend* using Robar if they offer any service you are interested in.

It looks pretty cool. The forward cocking serrations they do look pretty awesome also.

I actually like the Bowie Tactical Concepts stippling much better. Its less obtrusive looking than the Robar. Check out the link below: http://www.bowietacticalconcepts.com

Much cheaper in price as well

The Bowie guns are really nice.  I'm going to send the next batch to them and see how they compare.

I have been considering grip reductions for my Glocks for some time now.

Bowie was the first place I considered.

I also like the front serrations and the 'melting', rounding of all corners, they do.

However, the front serrations and the melting both remove the Tennifer treatment from the metal.  I am VERY reluctant to lose the benefits of the Tennifer treatment.

Any thoughts on this?

I like the tenifer but it is not a deal breaker for me.  I have had quite a few Glocks refinished and it is all about how good the finisher is and what he uses.

I use Nighthawk Custom to refinish all my guns now.  Their finisher is excellent and they will work with you to give you what you want.  I like the Perma Kote finish they apply.  It has held up very well, for years now in some cases, on my guns.

The two Sigs pictured in my avatar are Nighthawk Custom finishes.  They even did the aluminum grip panels to match.

Solus, the tenifer is not the black finish you see, that is a phosphate, the tenifer is actually still present when the black finish is gone, it penetrates several .001" into the metal.

I have gone past the tenifer, (slide milling and edge rounding) on many occasions and then had them refinished.  I have not had any trouble.
