Only traitors leave the doors open for the raiders. He has also given China emienant domain over the U.S. for collateral on our debt. Gang shootouts in major cities, Russia drilling for oil in the gulf, I'll shut up now and go load another 50 rounds. Mercy. America is fixing to get what she deserves Because WE WON"T QUIT BITCHING AND DO SOMETHING!

On the Nuke thing, Us average people won't know what's actually happened for years.
For example , Reagan and US aid to the Afghan "Freedom Fighters ", VERY GOOD,
Brought together, and helped train, the founders of both the Taliban, and Al Queda, Oops.
Just because He say's something doesn't make it so,  (  ;D  ) This has no bearing on what Under Secretaries decide over Vodka , also , all Treaties need to be approved by Congress, He could sign a Treaty selling George Washington's body to France, if Congress refuses to ratify it it's just "dead tree's" and ink.
On top of that, these things take time to implement. These are fairly specialized, you don't just grab the yellow pages, You need to arrange facilities , transport, and funding .
This is government, you expect efficiency and speed  ?
No one pushes this, it's not news, it plods it's way through the rolls of Red Tape, suddenly this one term abomination is gone and so is this F--ing Treaty BS.

As to the second  ;D I read the local paper every day and I'm surprised I did not notice this.
They might as well get used to stares but eventually full nudity will be ignored again .
It will most likely be beyond our lifetime, but even now our society has less and less contact with nature, we see that both in the decrease in Habitat and the decline in hunting generally.
As people have less need to leave climate controlled areas they have less need of clothing .
You guy's down south, How much do you really need clothing in the summer ?
Pockets is the thing though !  ;D I predict that even when no one wears anything else they will always wear some kind of belt and/or pouch to carry their stuff  ;D

Ever sit on a carseat while wearing shorts on a hot day?  In Phoenix and in St. Pete, that will give you second degree burns. Heck, even in nudist enclaves, it's common practice to carry a towel for both sanitary and comfort reasons.

I have no qualms about the morality of nudity--it's the practicality I wonder about.  A belt with pouches might be of some help for things like keys and money but we tend to hide a lot of other things under shirts and pants.

I once coached a junior football team in East LA.  I'd tell people my guys didn't usually win the game, but they ALWAYS won the fight after the game.  Finally had to make 'em play nekkid so they'd only have one place to hide a knife. ;)

Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle

Smoke and mirrors to keep folks from focusing on the real issues at hand, remember those?  The ones he can't seem to focus on himself!  Jobs, the economy, oil indepenence, illegal immigration....et al.

Toms right, again!

Besides, we have enough to serve our purposes for the next century and beyond.

To me this nuke thing is just like setting an exit date for Iraq. You DON'T broadcast your hand to the enemy. I'm not really as worried about China or Russia trying to hit us as I am some of these rogue groups how would take this as an invitation to strike us knowing that our resolve is weak.

I'm more worried about this sort of thing....

To an "Ex-Sonar techy"....these things are black holes in the ocean...

Vietnam has signed a deal with Russia to buy submarines, aircraft and other military hardware, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said on Tuesday.

"Vietnam has signed a contract to buy submarines, aircraft and other military equipment with the Russian side," he told reporters after negotiations with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

No details on the contract terms, sum involved, or types of military systems have been made available, but according to earlier media reports, Russia plans to sell Vietnam six Kilo-class Project 636 diesel-electric submarines, worth $1.8 billion.

Vietnam has also reportedly ordered Svetlyak-class patrol boats and frigates.

The Project 636 Kilo-class submarine is thought to be one of the world's most silent subs. It has been specifically designed for anti-shipping and anti-submarine operations in relatively shallow waters.

The Project-677, or Lada-class, diesel submarine, whose export version is known as the Amur 1650, features a new anti-sonar coating for its hull, an extended cruising range, and advanced anti-ship and anti-submarine weaponry.

Both submarines are equipped with advanced Club-S integrated missile systems.

State-run arms exporter Rosoboronexport previously said Russia could sell up to 40 fourth-generation diesel-electric submarines to foreign customers by 2015.

Instead of one BIG enemy we have a dozen smaller ones, and a big one.

Plus we've stripped our military of most of the equipment to fight them.  ASW is a dying art, most of the airborne capability is gone or will be gone in the next couple years.  Air superiority is a thing of the past, now we needhave more UAVs than fighters.  Close Air Support is good but none of the planes on the inventory can carry enough fuel and/or weapons to be truly effective.  We can fight an individual on the ground but can't fight an Army.  A naval battle is supposedly a thing of the past, until a flat top is at the bottom of the South China Sea.
When seconds mean the difference between life and death, the police will be minutes away.

You are either SOLVING the problem, or you ARE the problem.

The system still lives and I know 700-800 aging, balding, ex-SOSUS types that would jump back in and do it for free... ;)
