A real DOH! moment!

Put my shorts on this morning and the button fell off (don't go there! ;) ) so I figure I'm gonna be a good boy and sew it back on stead of tossing them in the corner and getting another pair.

I proceed to get the sewing kit and then I sit down and meticulously sew the it back on (with a few extra stitches :D ).  Done!

I'm feeling all good about myself as I put my shorts back on and..............................





..............find out I had sewed the button on the INSIDE!  DOH!



Had to cut it off and do it all over again.

Ya coulda just worn em inside out.  I've seen some of yer shorts--no one would know the difference. ;D

Thanks for being honest Haz!  That just reinforces the rule of thumb..."Measure twice and cut (sew) once".  Next time ask Haz Jr. if you are doing it right...he has YOUNG eyes!

I patched a pair of pants and found out I sewed them to the pants I was wearing.
