PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are investigating a double stabbing at a South Phoenix church Thursday morning.

Police said the victims are a priest and a female employee.

I am going to start a collection to raise money for a knife buyback program.  This will end the senseless killing by taking knives off the street.  I am also writing my Governor and asking him to do something about this like limiting purchases of knives to only one a month.  I feel bad for people getting married who will need to take two years to get a full set of silverware for their formal place settings, but think of the lives this would save!
While I am being sarcastic, let's institute a waiting period for knife purchases as well!

At the end of the article they actually hit the heart of the matter...."Police don't know what provoked the attack" You mean the knife didn't make the guy do it?? I thought that would be a no brainer.

No, they mean they dont know what provoked the knife to do this. If only knives where strictly regulated.... then there would be no violence.

Just a question, since when are two victims considered a "rampage"? I mean one was a priest, and the other was an employee of the church? So obviously they were right wing extremist evangelicals. Why such concern?
