NRA convention: thursday Whiskey River party
« on: May 06, 2010, 10:11:06 AM »
I just wanted to let people who are going to the NRA convention that Whiskey River (a bar owned by Dale Jr.) is having a band and opening at 5 for the convention.  They have been playing ads on the radio welcoming Rifleman and Republicans coming into town.   And if anyone wants to try the mechanical bull in there, they should have it going.    I think the bar is a few blocks away from the convention center.

Thanks for the heads up.

Who's playing at the Double Door?

Is John Boy & Billy going to be there? or at the Convention.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
