Best Defense Scenario Suggestion
« on: May 10, 2010, 02:19:00 PM »

I would like to suggest a Best Defense Scenario where you are out at a state fair or something with your
wife and kids and you encounter an altercation.

Location Ideas:
---------------------
In Line for a Ride.
At a game (ie: Ring Toss)
Coming back to a table with your hands loaded with food (ie: Can't get your gun quickly now)
On a ride where the person assaulting you is behind you (ie: On a roller coaster - Back Seats)

Here is another scenario for you:
This one has been done at IDPA lots:

You are at a ATM withdrawing money, when all of a sudden, two bad guys with guns approach you from behind you, stating
give me your money,or we will kill you.

Fun stuff !!!
Have a good one,
Steve...

They did something like that the first season.

What is interesting with those scenarios is that you would be in a crowded area where obviously knowing what is beyond and to either side of your target would be critical.
I have fortunately never been in a situation like that but understand that tunnel vision becomes an issue so it would be great to get the experts to weigh in with suggestions on how to avoid and handle crowded area situations.
Guns don't kill people, bullets kill people.
