I will try to respond without snark and within the bounds of good taste.
First, lets talk about taste. The idea of her (Kagan) and Janet Reno, Hillary Clinton and Linda Tripp in a mud wrestling event is enough to make swear off sex forever. (I know that's harsh, but its what you get for mentioning the words Rosie O'Donnel and fantasy in the same sentence. Right back at you.).

Now, on to the snark free serious stuff:
I agree with the outrage shown against the assinine "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy. (Otherwise known as the "we'll pretend to be bigots if we have to, to keep Congress happy, as long as you lie about who you are" policy). Thing is, it isn't and wasn't the military's fault. To me, denying military recruiters the right to offer career opportunities to people because of politics is the same as denyng gays and lesbians the right to serve to score political points. Its BS and drags our Army into the culture wars to score poltical points.
I call BS on both sides. Let the Army kill people and break things in an effecient manner and leave the rest of it at home. Her position on this is very close to a DQ in my opinion. YET, her job as the dean of a school is very different than the job of a Justice. Two different responsibilities. I am leaning strongly con after a bit of research, but I am willing to listen. The best take on her I've seen so far comes from Politico. I'll include the link.
