I can't help but to hang my head and grunt at the thought of who will be in office this time. When you look at the leaders and who has the money to keep running, it's a sad affair. I am from Arkansas, and ole' Huck helped this stae out a great deal. I am not sure I agree with him on everything, but I do know the man won't be pushed around. True he has changed his mind on a few issues, but at least he walked us though his thought process. It wasn't just a change of heart brought on by pressure. He will not be in office. He is already out of money for his campain, and we all know it's a 20 million dollar bill to be in the running. I think we're really in for it no matter who gets it. Gun owners stand at a cross roads now. With the Mexican drug wars, muslim/islamic threat, and the economic down turn, we are set civil unrest on a grand scale. As gun owners, we can be heros or made into criminals by marshel law and disarming. With this government at the helm, the later is most likely.

But here's a rough idea.

Libertarian = pro-gun (this is the party Ron Paul will eventually run under)

Reform = I don't think it exists, but the most visible candidate was Jesse 'The Body" Ventura

Green = This is where Dennis Kuchinich will likely end up. As the name implies, environmental concerns are key... I'm guessing lead and dead deer aren't very popular.

Scientologist = No idea on guns, but I know they loves them some Tom Cruise.

Cyclons = Pretty opposed to civilian ownership of firearms, but they ARE dedicated to wiping out the human race.

Obviously, some of my options were tongue-in-cheek. The third party almost all gunnies will go to is the Libertarian. Which will eventually be Paul. I'm not 100% sold on Paul, either, but he's 99% likely to get my vote considering the alternatives.

Or Cylon. I'm not too keen on the eradication of the human race, but I can get behind their plank on cloning outrageously hot blondes.

Hey Hazcat, You don't seem to like anyone. Unless yu need an abortion or plan on marring Strech, I don't really see what you think is wrong with Ron Paul.
