1911 long weekend

Taking a 4 day weekend, was hoping to go to Charlotte, but no dice, so instead, I have 3 1911 projects I intend to focus on, a Les Baer frame, barrel and slide, 90% done, a Safari arms Match Master, matched frame and slide, 50% done, and a newly acquired, series 70 Gold cup, that needs refinishing, and a weld up repair, from someone taking too much away from the inner mag well at the entrance to the mag chute.  Do it right and I will have 2 more finished pistols, and 1 that after repair and preparation, will go to Metaloy for their hard chrome finish on the frame and internals.

I do expect reports from Charlotte as DRTV members experience it.
