Better to have it than not to have it but this is the typical German hunting and sportshooting crap, a luxury club for the few that can afford it as their chichi hobby. There is only one way in which a gun culture can survive and that is self defense shooting. You can't grow the gun culture with hunting and sportshooting. In Germany we have a population of about 82 million people. Only 4 million own guns. 350.000 of them are hunters. The majority of the other 3.65 million are .22 precicion shooters with no sense for the gun culture (not due to the .22 but their mindset). There is no other motivation but self defense that can grow the number of gun owners. Michael Bane had a distinctive podcast with that topic this year. Only when a considerable percentage of the population owns guns, politicians will stop tightening the gun laws. But self defense shooting is against the law in Germany ... think about that. Beside that I prefer to shoot and train outdoors in heat, cold, rain, wind and all other realistic environmental conditions. It may be nice to have such a luxury shooting club as an addition but you don't want that to be the only possibility to shoot that is left. Keep America free and full of guns in the hands of citizens. Authorities have done more damage to their people with guns than citizens ever could.

Like my brother ultima said: we have a serious problem here in Germany. It’s not a European thing; it’s a specific German problem. It’s not that we don’t have a gun culture (we don’t have one for sure!). The biggest problem is that we don’t have a democratic culture! So called freedom and democracy was installed by the Allies after the end of the WW II. It’s not something that grew out of the needs and even more important, out of the strong and righteous believe of the people like in the US. You cannot understand that an armed citizen is the only way to preserve freedom before you understandd the concept of freedom at all. In Germany people think that the government is responsible for their personal health, welfare, job, whatever. In exchange they will never ever question the right of the government to regulate and tighten whatever freedom they still got left. It is so wrong but nevertheless the bitter reality. The reason why this type of video leaves a bad taste in my mouth is that the few people who own guns in Germany are not aware of the fact that they should be responsible citizens with the power and the will to protect freedom even against the government. Sorry for ranting away but sometimes it is so frustrating to see what is going on. Like ultima said: Please keep up the fight and preserve your rights! As long as there are free and armed people like you folks there is still some hope for us!
