What does anyone really expect from BHO?

He has consistently shown his personal dislike and loathing of America’s defenders since he took office. (Actually long before that). Why in the world would he attend any ceremony that honors the ultimate sacrifice America’s defenders have made to save a country he hates and consistently deems it necessary to  apologize for?
Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rapidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

In discussions about Clinton's and Obama's qualifications for the job of POTUS, I get asked if I think having served in the military should be a prerequisite for being  POTUS.  I have honestly answered that I don't.  But this thread has pointed out to me that true respect for the military needs to be a prereq for Commander in Chief.  Having served in the military does not guarantee that respect, as Kerry and Murtha have shown.
That is the most attractive aspect of McCain...He does respect our soldiers.

I do like the idea that you need to be a veteran to vote.

I heard an example of the difference between being involved and being committed to a cause.

In a ham and egg breakfast, the pig is committed but the hen is only involved.

We will find veterans more often committed to the US since they have been willing to put their bacon on the line for the country.

A guy on FOX News the other day said it best. He basicaly said...

"Obama has the same feeling towards the military as I do towrds Govt... He does not like it at all and he wants it to be far less powerful, but he views it as a neccesary evil."

I agree with the above sentiment, but isn't the military part of the government?
FQ13 Who is just happy about Rand Paul's election in the primary and means nothing more than that. If we weren't policing half the damn world, it could be a lot smaller.
