Brought to you by the Albany disciples of the "Reverend" Al Sharpton.  I  hope they supply the NYPD and NY State Police with red dot scopes and laser grips for their Glocks.  Perhaps with practice they can aim for a bad guy's thumbs so they simply drop the weapons.      ::)     ::)

I think the comments were worth the read by themselves. This is so stupid I can't believe it's fact and not the punch line of a Jay Leno joke. Maybe they should pass a supplement to this law that states criminals can only kill you if, if, they say please and you still don't do what they want. That seems to be just as useful as this stupid law and it makes twice as much sense.

Good God, when the mayor can tell a reporter, he can shove a rifle up his a** and pull the trigger, the cops have to aim for the least, NY get a grip, if they got more training, got rid of the 12lb NY triggers on their Glocks, maybe they could start reducing the BG population, and therefore the problem at hand, pacification through attrition. Unbelievable.

Well, you see. its like this. I kept tyring to shoot him in the hand, but its hard. I just kept missing, thats why all 11 misses hit center ass, it was kind of like the backstop. ;D

This bill assumes that LEO's can maintain that kind of marksmanship, and under duress. Usually at night, on a moving target. Etc. If you are drawing a deadly force weapon, YOU SHOOT TO KILL!

“A police officer or peace officer . . . uses such force with the intent to stop, rather than kill . . . and uses only the minimal amount of force necessary to effect such stop.”


It's all in the documentation. Just like FQ stated:

You people act surprised by this stupidity, in a city that regulates what foods the people can eat for crying out loud.
The "Sullivan act" was passed so those miserable residents  would stop shooting the criminals who kept the Dem party machine running.

the problem with NY (And Kali, for that matter) is, What the idiots there try to pass is gonna be pushed to be implemented everywhere else in the US. Thats why we should care. And I agree that Kimber ought to move to a more 2A state.
