Are they talking to Todd Jarrett as well?

I saw recently (don't know where) that Jarrett has begun making his own 1911's and will be hawking them rather than for Para USA.  Don't quote me, please!

I hope she looks as good in blue as she does in black!!
"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty, teeth and keystone under independence. The church, the plow, the prairie wagon and citizens' firearms are indelibly related. From the hour the pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurrences and tendencies prove that, to ensure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable. Every corner of this land knows firearms, and more than 99 and 99/100 percent of them by their silence indicate that they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil influence. They deserve a place of honor with all that's good. When firearms go, all goes. We need them every hour." She will, besides her good looks, those competitors of you out there who watch her, she's got it, not good for a girl, she is a great shooter, period. I predict will outshine Julie Golob, pretty quick, no offense to her, she is a great shooter too, maybe they will bring each other to another level. I like that.

I too have my hopes up for Randi Rogers, no slouch, and coming from the top of CAS shooting, takes a big learning curve, beyond shooting ability, some types of shooting is a game, and you need to learn the game to be competitive. USPSA, does not reward accuracy all that much in the match over speed, and the difference needs to be learned to win.

My best to all of the Women shooters.

I have a question that our competitive shooters might be able to answer.

Why are there a man's and a woman's league in shooting?  Does greater strength/endurance become more significant than shooting skill?  Or is shooting skill itself affected by gender?

"Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."

I think it is a hold over from the days when women did not compete against men, like in golf or tennis .
