Very Cool Veterans Tribute
« on: May 28, 2010, 11:53:07 AM »
Earlier, I posted a piece from my local paper that made me wonder why I live here. Another article, also from today's paper made me proud. There is a group called the Dignity Memorial Homeless Veterans Program. The mission is to ensure that veterans who die alone with no survivors are given a military service. A local funeral home donates their services. The local guard and reserve unit provides the honor guard. The idea is to make sure that even if there is no family present, that the deceased be laid to rest by the larger family of fellow veterans. To which I say hooray.

You are either SOLVING the problem, or you ARE the problem.
