The highlighted paragraph is the important one. It applies to Reid as well. You dance with who brung you. You don't trade them in on a flashier model and then expect loyalty. The NRA is doing the right thing. They aren't trying to elect a conservative. Its not their job. Theirs is to keep a pro-gun incumbent in office. Anything else is someone else's problem. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Great, Reid allows me to have all the guns, bullets, powder, etc., that I want only I can't afford them due to his passing of govt spending, lack of impact on the environment from lead, whatever...............but he didn't vote against guns, explicitly. To me, that's the short sighted argument with one issue voters and the NRA endorsements.
