The next time I'm having a big bowl of hot peach cobbler with a big scoop of home-made vanilla ice cream on top, the last thing on my mind will be Texas........(no offense to fine Texans out there).

By the way, where do the best iguana's come from?

I did know a large group of Catholic School Girls from St. Thomas Aquinas High School back in the day,.... ::) One in particular was,..oh nevermind..

All I can say is I'm NOT surprised,.....The more things change, the more they stay the same.... ;D

Carolina Peaches have been getting better every year. ;)

The stereotypical "Preachers Daughter" is NO stereotype...

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

They grow better peaches in Texas. Fredricksburg to be precise. I'm not a huge fan, except in ice cream, but I can tell you that homemade peach ice cream with Tx. peaches is a very special thing.

Best peaches come from Colorado.

Preacher's kids come in 22 flavors - follow in the footsteps, and wild and abandoned. I knew one who was headed to the later, never did find out if she went that way or not. Damn fine kisser though. And that was early HS a loooooong time ago.

As to the OP, my mother is a "preacher's kid" and is a fine southern woman of high moral character.....and as a preacher's grand-kid, I don't think I turned out too awful bad....after a few edges got sanded down......(??).  ;)   ;D

I knew this chick... when she went to college... well long story short, she ended up getting arrested as a prositute.   ;D

She lived up to the statment "crazy in the head, crazy in the bed"

You do see the connection I hope.

+1, to all of the above.  My mom's dad was a preacher and she and I both turned out just fine, thank you.  Her brothers, however, are a different story.   ;D
