OK, the kid took a sip of beer, big deal,,......not like he was banging them back all afternoon,...... ::)

That's why its good to be a Florida Marlins Fan. No sort of reprobate, rapscallion, or hooligan would be welcome. If they did show up, well, gosh darn it they would get a stern talking to mister, yessiree bob! And I'll bet you a sasparilla on that one too. ;D ::) ::)

No, they pulled this off the game broadcast.  Personally, I think toddler age alcohol consumption is quit hilarious.  Anyone know a toddler that can stomach a beer...bet that kid spit that stuff out a couple seconds later.

My folks use to let us sip a beer when we were that young.   My sister, two years younger tham me, learned to walk she wanted a sip of dad's beer and he told her she could have one if she walked over to his chair to get it.  She took her first solo steps for that sip of beer.

Of course the kid's drinking a beer. They won't let him smoke in the stadium anymore so he has to do something take away the edge.

Sip is one thing, but I doubt this kid down a half dozen in a couple hours...  So I wouldn't be to worried for him.  In a few years the kid'll be telling his dad, 'Hold my beer and watch this!'  You'd have to wait some hours before going to the ER after that one, blood test could get you in trouble. ;D

It's not up to me to judge whether or not it was right to allow this child to have a drink of beer, however, what's okay in private is not always okay in public.  You can french kiss your poodle, while sitting in your living room, for all I care, but don't do it on a park bench for everyone to see.  While in other countries, allowing a child to drink a small amount wouldn't warrant a second glance, here it is definitely frowned upon.  A little situational awareness goes a long way.
