Don't laugh, I used to know a guy who talked about his guard dog trained poodle. I laughed, till I found out it was a FULL size guard poodle  Semper Fi

Shawnee looks just like my poodle, Taffy. Taffy was all of 6# and  lived to be almost 16 and she never left my side in all of those years. She was only away form me a few times and then she stayed with my mom. I still miss her. Tiny poodles are so fun..and they don't shed.  For most of my life I have had poodles and Kjell of course had German Shepards. He helped train the drug dogs in Norway so he naturally loved the breed.
Maybe we need to get one of each again.. Now THAT would be a buddy system..
