I pray if this comes to a head, it happens within my lifetime, so my children and future grandchildren, can avoid it, but if they can't at least I can instill a sense of what our country used to be, and a vault full of weapons to fight the good fight with like minded folks.

Like CR, I weep and pray for my nation, and hope November can at least put the brakes on this BS, lame duck BHO, and hit the reset button in 2012.

You had best start by praying for the GOP. I don't say this as a slam, just an observation. The GOP is fighting yesterday's war. They are counting on the "Anybody BO" sentiment to get them across the finish line. They want to think that by just saying no to his agenda and villifing him, that will be enough to win. Folks will just vote for "Change". Thing is, we've been there, done that and gotten the T-shirt. Guess what? It kind of shrunk in the wash.
People like me voted for BO, something we would never have even considered under normal circumstances, out a sense of disgust and outrage over the W regime. We wanted change. Well, we got it. New boss same as the old boss. Now we want more. Fool me once etc.. You're not going to get the vote of folks who voted for BO because we were disgusted with status quo merely by offering change. I want a positive agenda. Its no longer enough to say what you against, you need say what you are for (and not just vague plattitudes either) and make that the center piece of a campaign. Unless they do that, the GOP will lose. I haven't heard a sngle GOP national contender do that yet. They need to start. Without a Reagan or a Gingrich who had clear plans, I wouldn't expect too much in 2012.
