This concept has been around at least 15yrs, AR 15 lower, and whatever arrow deliverer,, I like the compressed air model, but string and stick still apply. I am still working on the compressed air model. It should deliver an arrow at  500fps. Just need to get motivated. It was shown on " Hard Target " and no reason it won't work.
