After you read the BS about "witch hunts" and "caused deaths", and the frequent references to the HUAC, (House UnAmerican Activities Commitee ).
Then read the actual facts.
I'll start with the obvious, regardless of any time discrepancies, Senator McCarthy had nothing to do with ANY House Committee
I have read essentially the same story from 2  separate sources one, was a fairly deep and esoteric historical piece on Cold War spying by a respected historian.
The other, was Ann Coulter's : "Treason",  I know some will discount it because they don't like Ann, This is where FQ chimes in.
But in this case I confirmed it through another source, (I can't remember the name of the other book ) that not only confirmed everything AC wrote, but takes the story on through the Rosenbergs and Alger Hissand the other events of the 45 - 65 period.

The big deal with this, however, is that they were conspiring about what talking points to get out in order to frame the debate for the American People in a way that would push the liberal agenda. Its not that they were just reporting the news with a liberal bias that they were unable to overcome, but that they were activly using their positions to push an agenda and spin the coverage. 

Yes, it is a definitive "smoking gun" of liberal bias in the media, but it is so much more then that. It outs them as a propaganda machine.

Good point Eric. It opens up the question of whether they should be charged as acting as unregistered lobbyists. Not to mention "Collusion" charges. Both of those are felonies.
