Libertarian purity test:

Take it.

Ok here are the not so long awaited results of Quaker's Libertarian "purity" (and here I thought had already left any thoughts of purity by any definition behind me long ago

).
I got a 54. Which, according to these folks means, and I quote:
51-90 points: You are a medium-core libertarian, probably self-consciously so. Your friends probably encourage you to quit talking about your views so much.
Gee, that seems familiar here.

The thing is that this test was put out by the Ron Paul and anarcho-capitalist wing of the party. Sorry, but I don't think law enforcement, law making and the judiciary should be privatized. I don't think bombing civilians if necessary is a war crime, and I don't think we should withdraw all troops from abroad. No, we shouldn't revert to the Gold standard and I like public lands and a public education system (whether by voucher or otherwise). Plus, I do not favor open borders. So I'm happy with being a "medium core" Libertarian. Because we tried anarcho-capitalism once. We just called it feudalism.

IMHO if you are a "pure" anything, it just means you are a jackass who drinks the kool-aid rather than thinking for yourself.

PS Looking at the above mentioned scores, why am I the house liberal?
