Two Political Issues - Same Response

For years pro-Second Amendment folk have been saying "No new gun laws - Just enforce the ones we already have."

How about we apply the same to "Immigration Reform?"  All I've been reading lately is immigration reform this and immigration reform that.  The two sides can't agree on immigration reform, and where do we start on immigration reform.

Here's an idea that our politicians can't seem to grasp:

We have plenty of immigration laws on the books, and many have never even been read.  Let's just enforce what we have!

Bleeding Heart Liberals:

Don't waste your time and money telling us it is unfair, cruel and racist.  Get off your asses, and go help the illegals get their act together!

The paranoid idiot in my skull tells me this focus on immigration reform is to detract from ... from ... from ... oh yeah, from the Kagan hearings    Still in our first few days of hearings, and in all the daily papers I check the best I can find is one mention on a few of them way down in the political area.  I had to really search to find info in most papers, and in about a third you had to do searchs of the site
