I am pro-Dixie Chicks (to no one's surprise). But I'll say this. I was in Tx. for most of W.'s terms as Governor and the Dixie chicks rise up the charts. I preffered listening to the Dixie Choicks. They made me want to drink a beer as opposed to needing one. Come the the presidential election? Well, I'll say this. If you've given Phil or Sledge hell for bad mouthing Rudd of Gilliard on on foriegn board, you get a pass. Otherwise you are a hypocrite and can KMA. Like wise, if you've dissed BO to those two fereigners, you're a hypocrite if you bash a good country band for dissing a C- Governor and a D+ President. I won't even rate the current jackass in chief, but lets just say its a good thing he didn't follow someone competant like Bush Sr..

And just who would you have preferred, FQ?  Gore?  Kerry?   We got the best candidate who was available at the time.  NOT something I can say about now, I might add.  Oh, by the way, if you voted for Obama you can kiss MY ass.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

I seem to recall McCain (version 1.0) who got $500 of my dollars being available. But gee, no takers from the GOP.

I'd like to apologize for my previous rant.  It just lights the fuse on my tampon when somebody who voted for Obama calls Bush incompetent.

Pot, meet kettle.

Tried hard to. I didn't like version 2.0. Going back on pretty much everything he promised 8 years ago, showing no vision, just more of the same, seeming confused half the time? C'mon, I'm being honest, I'm asking you to be as well. What happened to the 2000 McCain?

He was thrown under the bus by the party, in favor of someone they thought was more electable.  Same thing that happened to Hillary in 08.

Please don't misunderstand me, FQ.  Bush wasn't my first choice in 2000, just as McCain wasn't in 08.  However, in both cases, these were the people we were left with when the general election rolled around.  That being said, I thought each of them was the better choice in the general than were their opponents.  I still believe that, in both cases.

Somehow I suspect history will be much kinder to Bush 43 than you are.

+1  And I'll add this FQ.......you did NOT have to vote for the post turtle, you chose to...

and the Dixie Chicks can move to England for all I care....not because they didn't like Georgie but for the way they made that public...they can KMA...

Never apolgize, makes you look weak (I just got done watching NCIS ;)). As long as its not mean spirited and in good fun I'm the last to complain. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
No worries
