A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have. ~ Gerald Ford - August 12, 1974

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Good stuff. I love the blues, but someone needs to make it grow a bit. Extend the chord range etc. I lost a fifty dollar bet to my roomate in college (a classical guitarist who hated the blues). We, and some friends had been drinking and I was bragging about some John Lee Hooker bootlegs I'd scored. Joel says "Look, to hell with that. A trained Dalmatian can sing the blues. Give me four words, and I'll give you a Blue's song". We all, 8 of us took the bet. He got Maggie Thathcher (we were polisci majors in the '80s) fly, listerine and orange. He produced, with 30 seconds thought, in the key of D (the people's chord ;)) the following:
I had a girl I loved, thought she was gonna fly, bam bam, bam bam
Too much methadone, an ugly way to die, bam bam, bam bam
Jumped from the roof down to the pit bulls(lonsesome holler) and   bam bam, bam, bam
They had teeth like Maggie Thatcher, bam bam, bam bam,
And they was was drinking listerine (lonesome holler again), under an Orange colored sky! bam bam, bam bam, bam. ;D
It pissed me off, but we paid him. :-\
