Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

They didn't have me as a prof. >:( I was worried about the state of our nation, and then I saw that Aggies T shirt. At that point I said "figures'. ;D
FQ13 who is the R Lee Ermey of Civics teachers, and will break out the rum because after that abortion its either that or get out the glock to "reason" with my colleagues. What the hell do they do all day? :-\ :-[

Now do you begin to under stand my attitude toward college's ?
I run into this type of stupidity every day, usually the more documentation they have the dumber they are.
So called "Engineer's", (got a degree by God !     :o  )  Who know nothing but an auto CAD system   ::)

Painfully familiar......my bosses arrogance is only surpassed by his lack of experience and stupidity.  I haven't talked to him in two months.  The guys in the shop are ready to have him "taken care of"!

Cause their dumb as stumps (not all), but I've seen Jay Leno do this at various college's and they are all similar.

All that stuff is not taught in college.

Every 4th grader should know that stuff.  More than know it...they should FEEL it....be part of it....be proud of those who founded and fought for our country's birth.

That should come from grade school teachers, and I guess parents need to start reinforcing it.  Grandpa knew the stuff, but trusted his kids teachers to get the message to the kids.

Kids should KNOW the first battles were fought to protect the firearms of the colonies so Independence and Freedom could be won, and the battles still need to be fought so Independence and Freedom can be maintained.
