O'Reilly has outlived his relevance.  If he continues he too will end up as a sad characterization that Larry King became.  He really should pull the plug but his gargantuan ego will not allow that.

He still is slaughtering his competition on the other networks in his time slot. That however is more of a case of his competition, (MSDNC, CNN), of continually shooting themselves in the foot with their slanted, liberal broadcasting, and non stop praising of Hussein. He has good guests and content, it's just his presentation that is going off the rails. I think you hit the nail on the head. His ego, along with his finances, have become tremendously inflated. As was said in the movie "Wall Street", "Money makes you do things you don't want to do".   Bill T.

I can't watch the guy.

Whenever he's on TV, all I think of is his "fluff" entertainment gig on Inside Edition.....as far as I'm concerned, he's an entertainer, nothing more.  His opinions may be construed as middle of the road but he's always given me the impression he's go whatever way the money went.

Its why I prefer Maddow and Beck. Particularrly Maddow (who believes in the "Take as much rope as you want" school of debate). I want to hear give and take, not a monlogue. O'Reilly is just rude. Be secure enough to ask a question, wait for an answer and rebut. Again, keep a conservative, just give me one that will let me learn something from him and the guest or I'll watch the Simpsons.
