I celebrated the 4th of July and the 2nd Amendment today!
« on: July 05, 2010, 05:19:14 PM »
Bought myself a XDm .45! Took it to the range for an immediate 100 round warmup.  Sweet,  Xs (edit: and some 9s, my bad) at combat ranges after adjusting to it with the first three mags.

Needed a new Safariland 6320 for duty use, and I'll have to qualify with it in the next week or so.  I really hate having an excuse to go shooting.

Truglo tritiums and a Springer Precision trigger job are on the "to do" list.  ;D
Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

Congrats.

Been avoiding the gun stores since I can't buy, but it's always nice hearing about a great new acquisition. Enjoy!

I agree, the XDm-45 is INCREDIBLE.  Put a few hundred thru mine on the Fourth too.  I can't believe how small that grip feels, for a hi-cap .45.
