People of America need to reminded, Sheriffs are elected, and police chiefs are appointed and are the lap dogs of their employers. We need to back our sheriffs, who in the end, Trump police, all they in truth for the most part work together, but when push comes to shove, the sheriffs should win, although they usually have smaller budgets, but more guts.

Bravo, and I wished they had brought up the fact, that the Sheriff is elected and has more jurisdiction than the police chief, and does not work for the Mayor or city council. Nor his or her deputies.
